Emergent Cohort :: Nov 2, 9:30pm @ Triumph Brewery

The next official meeting of the Princeton Emergent Cohort is 9.30pm November 2nd, at the Triumph Brewery on Nassau St in downtown Princeton.

It will be an evening to come together and hang out with many people interested in Emergent and those who have been involved with it from the beginning: Karen Ward (COTA: Church of the Apostles, Seattle), Tony Jones (National Coordinator of Emergent), Tim Keel (pastor of Jacob's Well), Doug Pagitt (author and pastor of Solomon's Porch) and Jonny Baker (from the alternative worship community Grace in London, pioneer of the alt.worship movement in the UK).

In addition, there are many others who may be present including Theologian John Franke (from Biblical Seminary), author and pastor Russell Rathbun, Phil Meadows (also from the UK), faculty and staff from both Princeton Theological Seminary and Wesley Theological Seminary, and many others.

Let's just go ahead and call this the Ultimate Emergent Cohort.

If you've ever had any questions about Emergent, or desire to learn more about the conversation/movement, or wanted to chat with any of those who are very involved in Emergent, this would be the time and the place to be.

Come join us for an evening of conversation at the Triumph. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at adam.cleaveland@ptsem.edu - hope to see you all there!

cohortians: Great job last night.

I found myself strangely quite--perhaps the awe factor--but I appreciated being ablie to listen to how ministry is being lived out in real life situations; rather than speculating about it from the classroom.

Peace
Wes
