The Princeton Emergent Cohort is going to be meeting on October 11th, at Charlie Browns, although we'll be meeting at a different time this week. We are going to try from 8-10pm and see how that works for people instead. If that is a really bad time (as opposed to 9-11pm), let me know in the comments section.
Also, we never got around to hearing what everyone was hoping the Cohort would look like this year, and I'm not interested in trying stuff that isn't going to work well and be something you'd all be interested in. So, here are two questions for the Cohort, please answer them in the comments section.
- What is a topic that you are interested in discussing in relation to Emergent, the emerging church, etc.?
- What is one article that you would recommend as one we could read and discuss together?

I will have to file away the question of a good article to read. However, I finished reading A Generous Orthodoxy this summer and would be interested to talk about some of the concepts in that book perhaps in conjunction with what area of people's faith they have been most resistant to loosen their hold on (evangelical/liberal/etc).
Other question ideas:
What are more models of what emergent looks like in practice within a church or faith community setting?
What does evangelism look like under the emergent banner? Does it change its place in terms of improtance?
