Looking for some leaders

Hi Emerging Friends!

The Princeton Emergent Cohort is looking forward to this fall! And the fall is quickly approaching. Up to this point the cohort has had two different lives. The first was when Tony Jones was in the Princeton area working on his PhD and there were tons of people that would come to the cohort meeting. The second phase was when the cohort was a little smaller and lead by seminarians from one of the local seminaries. I was one of the leaders and we found it hard to be consistently providing the leadership needed for regular conversation around the pub table. So I am wondering if there is anybody out there that would like to help the cohort move to phase three. Phase three would involve a collaborative leadership effort between people from every different walk of life. So if you are interested in helping lead the Princeton Emerging Cohort, please drop me an e-mail. Or if you have anything to add to this post, please leave your suggestions on this blog. Thanks for your consideration.

Josh

Hi,

I wanted to introduce ourselves. My wife and I will be moving from LA to New Brunswick as I will be attending Rutgers for an MFA in acting.

We have been involved with emergent in southern cal and are interested in meeting the NJ cohort. We look forward to meet you all when we are there in the end of August.

I would also like to introduce ourselves. My wife and I moved here from Omaha Nebraska. I am beginning my M.Div at Princeton Seminary this fall. We have no previous experience with the emerging conversation. We have recently had the chance to read a few books on the emerging church, and my wife Ashley and I are interested in getting involved. When will meetings begin?
